PDF Bookmarks

Free Local Processing

Free online PDF bookmark tool. Automatically generate a bookmark outline for every page of your PDF (such as "Page 1", "Page 2"), so you can jump instantly from the reader sidebar. Great for scanned documents and merged files that need a navigation structure. Files are never uploaded — everything is processed in your browser.

FAQ

Q: How are the bookmarks generated?

One bookmark entry is created for each page (e.g. "Page 1"), mapped page by page so you can click to jump.

Q: Will existing bookmarks be overwritten?

No. Existing bookmarks are kept, and the new ones are appended to the outline.

Q: When is this most useful?

Scanned documents without a text outline benefit the most; you can also use bookmarks to locate chapters after merging multiple documents.
